Darium clothing 5th birthday with Fashion TV - 21/3/09
Darium is a hot Melbourne label and they celebrated their fifth anniversary with us during the L'Oreal Fashion Festival closing party along with FTV Australia. This clip aired globally on FTV in 2006.

A lot of people had been waiting for the resturn of Dimitri From Paris for a long time! So we were really pleased to bring out the Frenchman for what turned out to be probably our best party ever! Dim was irrepresible, playing amazing house and disco for over four hours at our sister venue, Peninsula in Shed 14.

We were absolutely thrilled to host DJ Spen on New Year's night 2009. The man is simply one of the most entertaining and thrilling DJs going around. House and disco, all night long from the ex-Basment Boy and current Code Red boss.

We teammed up with our LiveOneDay friends to bring down Joey Negro (aka Dave Lee) who rocked Alumbra for his first time. The man has many monikers under which he produces, but Joey Negro was definitely the name on everyone's lips after this memorable gig.

The reason we have DJ's returning to the venue regularly, is because we love them! DJ Meme is no exception, taking time out of his insane Brazilian schedule (where he tours non-stop) to visit Alumbra for our Eigth Anniversary.
DJ Spen & Marc Evans - 25/9/10
The one and only DJ Spen returned, but this time, with one of the hottest vocal properties in house music, the wonderful Marc Evans. Spen was his usual animated self, slamming down some excellent music while Marc thrilled all with live performances of his tunes like 'Given me joy', 'The way you love me', 'I don't want you anymore' and more.
Osunlade 27/12/10
It was Osunlade's second time in Australia and he once again treated the city's house lovers to some great house music. Osunlade is a great producer and DJ and it was a pleasure to have him at the Alumbra decks.

New year's day 2011 saw the return of Welcome Summer, this time, with French superstar, Bob Sinclar. Bob tore the place apart, dropping many of his hits and current club sensations. The massive crowd was in for an extra special treat when Ron Carroll came and joined in on the fun too, treating all to a special improptu performance of 'Wonderful world'.

Carl Cox & Eric Powell's Mobile Disco - 13/6/11
The legendary Carl Cox and Eric Powell brought their Mobile Disco party to Alumbra for a winter session. Carl & Eric's Mobile Disco has fast become a sought-after event in the summer calendar, when the two fellas host their event at wineries. Carl spoke to Alumbra exclusively about his ten year anniversary at Space Ibiza, his new album and of course the concept of the Mobile Disco party.
