The Cuban Dance Academy presents Latin Dancing each Thursday night at Alumbra. Alumbra is pleased to confirm that a live latin band, Del Barrio, will be performing each Thursday night!
Thursday evenings sizzle to rhythmic latin sounds each week with latin dance lessons and live latin music! Join in on the fun with classes from 6.30 pm and social dancing from 9.30 pm. The Cuban Dance Academy provides a comprehensive introduction to latin dancing with a particular emphasis on beginners and the intermediate groups.
We focus on afro-cuban salsa. We feel that dancing should not only look good, but it should feel good too, so we have a clear, easy to follow structure during our lessons, to help you gain confidence and the best understanding possible.
We live, breathe and love latin dance styles in all its myriad of wonderful variations, which you can experience each week at Alumbra. Enjoy two-for-one mojito’s and our bar menu, available each Thursday night.
Class times:
6.30 – 7.30: Level 1
7.30 – 8.30: Level 2 & Level 4 (in separate areas)
8.30 – 9.30: Level 3
7.30 – 8.30: Level 2 & Level 4 (in separate areas)
8.30 – 9.30: Level 3
9.30 - late: live latin band Del Barrio each Thursday, plus DJs.
